第１日目（8/11)　鄭州市〜少林寺

１２：３０　午前中に自転車の組み立てを終え、ホテルの従業員や多数の市民に見送られて少林寺に向けてスタートした。
天候はくもり、比較的涼しい。市街地を走り抜け、郊外へ。日本の風景とあまり変わりはないが、左右はいつまでも続くとうもろこし畑。まっすぐにな広い道。ペダルはかろやかだ。
２０km地点から黒い砂ぼこりが多く、４０ｋｍ地点ではガラスや石ころ、くぎなどが散在し、おまけに、ゆるやかな長〜い。上がり坂が多くなってきた。
九慮八苦の地点を、皆、声をかけ合い、無事走り終えた。
少林寺へ到着したには１９：４５。皆、顔手足はまっ黒でした。日焼けで？？？
今日の走行距離　１０７ｋｍを走り終えた満足感を夕食で共に楽しくわかちあった。

On Sunday, Auguat 11, at 12:30 we left the hotel in Zheng Zhou toward Deng Feng where famous Shao Lin Si templ is located.. At the departure, many employees of the hotel and citizens saw us off. It was cloudy and comparatively cool day. We ran through urban area and went out to suburbs where, as far as eye can see, were maize plantations. On a strait road we pedaled bicycles comfortablly.  We ran 20 kilometers from the start, the road gradually became dusty. We came 40 kilometers from the start, in addition to pebbles, peaces of glass and nails were scattered on the road, we had to run gentle but long uphill slopes. Our members encouraged each other and climbed up several hard slopes, and finally arrived in the destination, Deng Feng at 19:45 without trouble. Faces, arms and legs were not only to get sunburn but also to be stained dark by means of the exhaust gas of the vehicles passing by. Having finished to run 107 kilometers in the afternoon, all of the members shared a great satisfaction and had the dinner.
