Explanatory note on the discography
1. This was compilated according to the discographies such as "Jazz
Records 1942-68:Jorgen.G.Jepsen", "Modern Jazz Discography:Walter
Bruyninckx" and "The Clef/Verve Labels: Michel Ruppli", the data
being arranged on the time chain.
2. There described original record numbers in this discography.
3. About the SP records of "LIONEL HAMPTON & HIS ORCHESTRA"(1949-50)
seen in Decca recording, I added the record numbers of what was
released as LP record earlier than any others or what was
well-arranged.
4. Many alt.takes from 1959 to 1968 were recorded both in LPs and CDs,
and I mentioned the record numbers of what wast was released earlier
than any others.
5. On private tapes, I mentioned only the ones whose existence were
identified.
6. The descriptions in the parentheses imply alt.takes or special
mentions.
7. The alphabets in the parentheses at record numbers imply the
country where it was released.
8. The titles with the lines of withdrawal inply what was mistaken or
what was given title although known it was mistake.
